Serengeti is the largest national park in Tanzania. It covers about 14,763 sq km at an altitude of 1737 meters above sea level). Serengeti is true to its Maasai name “SIRINGET” meaning endless plains.
Serengeti is the home to countless numbers of animals such as Lions, Cheetahs, Leopards. You may also feast your eyes on herds of Wild beast, Zebras, a variety of Gazelles, Impalas and other species of Antelopes. Buffalos, Hippos, Elephants and Giraffes are among the other well-represented species.
In addition there are numerous smaller mammals and birds.
The famous Migration of Wild beasts and Zebras with as many as 1.5 million individuals on the move can be seen between November and June.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha to Tarangire
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha airport (ARK) and transfer to your accommodation.
After a briefing, drive to Tarangire National Park.
Enjoy afternoon game drives, observing large herds of elephants and baobab trees.
Overnight in Tarangire.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara
Enjoy a final morning game drive in Tarangire.
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park.
Spot tree-climbing lions, diverse habitats, and abundant birdlife during your game drives.
Overnight near Lake Manyara or in the Karatu area.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Central Serengeti
After breakfast, travel to the vast plains of the Serengeti National Park.
Begin your exploration with an afternoon game drive in the Seronera area.
Overnight in the Central Serengeti.
Day 4: Central Serengeti
Embark on a full-day game drive in the Central Serengeti.
This area is a haven for big cats and offers excellent wildlife viewing.
Overnight in the Central Serengeti.
Day 5: Central Serengeti to Northern Serengeti (Seasonal)
Note: This day’s focus depends on the time of year and the Great Migration’s location.
If it’s the migration season, you might travel north to follow the wildebeest.
Enjoy game drives in the area.
Overnight in the Northern Serengeti.
Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Serengeti.
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive in the afternoon.
This UNESCO World Heritage site offers breathtaking views and high wildlife density.
Overnight in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater and Return to Arusha
Enjoy a morning game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.
After your final game drive, you will be transferred back to Arusha for your onward journey or departure from Kilimanjaro International Airport.
